Forward Daah Rashid Junior has completed his move to Silver Strikers from LUANAR Mitundu on a two-year-and-six-month contract.
The 25-year-old who has so fat netted twice and provided four assists in the top flight this season has joined Silver Strikers at an undisclosed fee.
Rashid Jnr joins Silver Strikers with the ambition of making an immediate contribution and helping the club compete for more silverware.
Speaking after completing the move, the forward expressed his delight at joining one of Malawi’s top sides.
“I am delighted to join Silver Strikers, one of the top teams in Malawi. I am grateful for the trust the club has shown in me, and I promise to repay that trust by working hard and helping the team win trophies,” said Rashid Jnr.
The new signing is expected to add depth and attacking options to the club. Daah will be available for selection from the start of the second round. This is the first signing for Silver Strikers in the 2026/27 midseason transfer window. The window was opened on 25 August and is expected to closed on 21 September 2026.
