Ahead of the fourth match of the 2026/27 FDH Bank Premiership, Head Coach Peter Mgangira has said his charges need to learn from last week’s loss and ensure they turn the tables to secure a positive result.
In Match Week 4, Silver Strikers hosts Masters Football Club at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe.
Mgangira says this week the team has been busy rectifying the mistakes that caused the bad result and they look forward to a grand game come Sunday.
Masters Football Club returns from a win on Monday after beating LUANAR Mitundu FC and goes into this match as the only side yet to drop a point this far.
“They are having a great form at the moment since they have won three games out of the three played as we return from a loss. However, this is another whole new game altogether. It will be a different game. We have learnt lessons from our loss and the only thing that was worrisome in our previous match was that we created a lot of chances that we didn’t convert into goals,” said Mgangira.
On the mood in camp, Mgangira said all is well and the boys look sharp.
“We are ready, the boys are in good shape. The loss last week was painful but we move forward. There are no new injuries this far and we are prepared,” he added.
Still out of action through injury are Eric Astigah, Yankho Billiat and Felix Dumakude.
