Head Coach Peter Mgangira has urged his charges to spit fire as the side hosts Moyale Barracks at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe.
The Central Bankers return from a win last week after beating Kamuzu Barracks 0-2 at Champions Stadium in Mponela.
Mgangira said it is important for the team to strike the Kaning’ina-based soldiers in order to get maximum points in the first home match.
“This is a very important game for us, and it all lies in our tactical approach to the game. Moyale Barracks is a side that is also physical, but we always tell the boys to let the ball do the work in this type of scenario where you are playing a side that gives you their physical presence,” he said.
The gaffer also gave a recent injury update, showing that three more players have joined Felix Dumakude on the sidelines.
“Three more players have joined Dumakude on the injury list. Yankho Billiat suffered a knock in training on Thursday and did not train with us on Friday. Another one on the injury list is Eric Astigah, who, despite playing last week, has been struggling with a minor injury. Innocent Shema did not train with us on Friday due to sickness.
The medical team is currently assessing these players to see who might make it on Saturday, but we are hopeful that we have all that we require to win this match,” he said.
Moyale Barracks will visit Area 47 on Saturday to try to get their first three points after playing out to a goalless draw against Goshen City Dedza Dynamos at Rumphi Stadium last weekend.
