Silver Strikers signed two players from Mponela FC, Arkangel Mayola and Haward Kamuona, on Tuesday, along with promoting Kelvin Matandala from the Reserve team to a semi-senior role.
Mayola and Kamuona will join the Central Bankers as semi-seniors on three- and four-year contracts, respectively.
The signings follow impressive performances by Matandala and Mayola with the senior team. Kamuona caught the Central Bankers’ attention during their match against Mponela FC last Saturday.
Matandala expressed his excitement about signing a semi-senior contract with Silver Strikers.
“I am so excited that today my dream has come true. I have signed with the team that is closer to my heart, and I look forward to a great, continued journey,” said Matandala.
All three will be eligible for selection for both the main team and the reserve squad.
