Former Dedza Dynamos and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets attacking midfielder Lameck Gamphani Junior signed a two-year contract with Silver Strikers on Friday.

Gamphani becomes the sixth player to join the Central Bankers ahead of the 2026 season. The first five signings were Mally Kasongo, Eric Atsigah, Lumbani Nyondo, Yankho Billiat, and Christopher Mikuwa.

He joins Silver Strikers on a free transfer.

In 2021, Gamphani made his debut in the top-flight league with Dedza Dynamos, then later moved to Blantyre-based FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in 2024, where his contract was eventually terminated.

Gamphani sees joining Silver Strikers as an opportunity to rejuvenate his career.

“I am happy to sign for Silver Strikers, which is one of the sides that fights for everything on the local scene. I am here to fight for my spot, and I believe I have what it takes to be part of the success story of Silver Strikers,” said Gamphani.

He will wear the jersey number 77 at the club.
