Goalkeeper Christopher Mikuwa has on Friday completed a switch from military side MAFCO FC to Silver Strikers.
Mikuwa, who is the first Silver Strikers signing ahead of the 2026 football season, joins Silver Strikers on a three-year deal.
The former Mighty Tigers and MAFCO FC goalkeeper will work alongside Charles Thom and George Chikooka in goals.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Mikuwa said he was excited to start a new chapter in his football career.
“Joining Silver Strikers means more than just playing for a club. It means becoming part of a family with a strong legacy and passionate supporters. This move means stepping up my game and taking on a bigger challenge; therefore, I am proud to begin this journey”, said Mikuwa.
The 26-year-old managed to keep 13 clean sheets for his former side and has joined the Area 47 side on a free transfer.
