Head Coach Peter Mgangira has said his side is looking forward to a fantastic finish, despite Mighty Wanderers winning the league with a game to go.
Silver Strikers will host Mzuzu City Hammers on Wednesday before facing Blue Eagles on Saturday at the same venue.
While congratulating the Lali Lubani outfit, Mgangira feels his side needs to keep fighting to end the league run on a high note.
On the other end, Mzuzu City Hammers will be looking forward to getting maximum points to save themselves from relegation. Currently, they sit in 14th position with 28 points.
“I would like firstly to congratulate Mighty Wanderers for winning the 2025 TNM Super League. They had a good run, and they deserved to win. In our game on Wednesday, I think we are still fighting . We have a chance of finishing second or third, so we need to give it 100 percent and see how we finish. The team looks sharp and ready to roar. We are playing at home, and we need to win to give thanks to the fans who have been with us all season,” said Mgangira.
In the first round, Silver Strikers won 1-3 at Rumphi Stadium in the last match of the 2025 first round league season.
