Head Coach Peter Mgangira has said his side is not under any pressure, but the team is focused on taking one game at a time.
Silver Strikers return to the field on Sunday to play Karonga United at Karonga Stadium, following their win on Wednesday against Ekhaya FC at Mpira Stadium in Blantyre.
Mgangira added that currently, the focus has always been on managing the players physically.
“The team is in good form as we are on a good winning streak however that will not distract us. We are focusing on what is ahead of us. Our focus is not about the title race, we are defending champions and our focus is on playing and winning our game, we will take a game at a time,” said Mgangira.
In the first round, Silver Strikers won 3-1.
On Sunday, the side will be without Andrew Joseph who is currently not fit to play, and Ernest Petro who is away in Blantyre on private business.
After the game against Karonga United, Silver Strikers will be on the road again to face MAFCO FC at Champion Stadium in Mponela on Saturday.
