Silver Strikers has been drawn against National Division League side Namitete Zitha FC in the 2025 Castel Challenge Cup draw held at Mpira Stadium on Tuesday.
The tie will be part of the round of 32 stage of the tournament.
The winner of the tie will face the winner of the clash between Homesweepers FC and Mzuzu City Hammers in the Round of 16.
The Football Association of Malawi will then conduct another draw for the Quarterfinal stage of the tournament.
Last year, Silver Strikers were eliminated from the tournament in the Round of 32 after a penalty shootout loss to lower-league side Panthers FC.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw after regulation time.
This year, the Central Bankers will seek to change their fortunes and win the cup for the first time since its inauguration in 2023.
On the other hand, Namitete Zitha will look to cause an upset against the Central Bankers, as they are a lower-league side. Currently, Namitete Zitha is fourth with 34 points from 19 games.
