Silver Strikers Head Coach Peter Mgangira says Thursday’s fate against Songwe Border United will depend on which team wants it more, but he feels the Central Bankers need the win the most.
Mgangira says his side needs the win most as he looks forward to defending the championship.
Silver Strikers return to action after a break, as the Malawi National Football Team was in camp the previous week.
Speaking ahead of the match which will be played at Karonga Stadium, the gaffer said he however expects a tough outing.
“It is going to be a tough match but the players know very well how important these three points are and they know how a must win game it is. The result of this match means a lot to us as the winner from this match will depend on who wants it more, however we want it more so we will do whatever we can to grab maximum points,” said Mgangira.
Silver Strikers will be without Gift Chunga, Sam Adeyemi, and Charles Chipala due to injury.
