Head coach Peter Mgangira says his side needs to lift their heads and recollect themselves in order to secure maximum points on Saturday.
Silver Strikers face Chitipa United at Karonga Stadium in the second week of the 2025 TNM Super League.
Last week, in the season’s opening fixture, Silver Strikers went down by a goal against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets. The home side suffered a similar defeat against MAFCO FC at Chitowe Stadium.
However, Mgangira feels his side must react quickly and bag maximum points.
“It has been a very good week, despite that we are coming from a loss, the boys show that they are ready for action. Going into this match is all about confidence, Silver Strikers is a big club and the boys know it won’t be an easy game, but we need to grab maximum points on Saturday,” said Mgangira.
Last year, the two sides played to a one-all draw at the same venue.
