Silver Strikers Ladies have contributed five players to the Malawi National Women’s Football team squad that has been invited in camp ahead of the friendly matches against South Africa next week.
The five are goalkeeper Ireen Sibande, defenders Justina Jumbo and Ireen Khumalo, midfielder Carlolyne Mathyola, and forward Chisomo Banda.
The players have today joined camp at Mpira Village in Blantyre.
Plans are underway that the Scorchers will friendly matches against South Africa during the Women’s Football Fifa window from 31st March to 8th April this year.
The five that have been called into camp were outstanding at the just ended Goshen FAM Women’s Football National Championship.
