Goalkeeper Charles Thom has extended his stay at Silver Strikers by signing a new two-year contract.
The experienced goalminder joined the Area 47 side in 2016. Since joining Silver Strikers, Thom has, including recently, won the 2024 TNM Super League, the FDH Bank Cup in 2021, and the Airtel Top 8 in his debut year.
Speaking after extending his stay in Area 47, Thom said he is excited to continue serving Silver Strikers, as he feels he still has a lot to deliver for the club.
“I am so excited that I have been honored to continue to serve Silver Strikers FC, this is a great club and this is my home. Adding two more years of my stay feels good and I have arrived at this decision as I feel I still have something to offer to the club and I want to make a difference as I try to help the team reach greater heights,” he said.
Charles Thom joined the Central Bankers from Dwanga FC after his boyhood club Warriors FC.
