Malawi National Women’s Football Team Coach Lovemore Fazili has called in a local camp training scheduled to begin on Friday, 7th February this year five players from Silver Strikers Ladies.
The five that have been included in the squad that will camp at Mpira village in Blantyre are defender Ireen Khumalo, midfielders Carlolyne Mathyola and Linda Manda as well as forwards Chisomo Banda and Grace Kakwangula.
The five will be in camp in preparation for friendly matches during the FIFA window. The FIFA Window will be between 17 to 26 February.
The Scorchers were initially scheduled to play against the Republic of the Congo in the WAFCON qualifiers, but Congo has withdrawn from the competition.
