Patrick Chimimba- SSFC Chief Executive Office

Patrick Chimimba joined the club in 2024 to spearhead a new era of growth and professional management. Since his appointment, he has driven the club’s commercialisation agenda while transforming the Secretariat into a more efficient and professional structure.

His leadership has focused on strengthening corporate governance, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and positioning Silver Strikers as a modern, commercially viable football institution within Malawi’s sports and business landscape.

Silver Strikers Football Club boasts a rich history of success in Malawian football. The Bankers won the inaugural Airtel Top 8 in 2017 and lifted the trophy again in 2019. The club has also secured eight TNM Super League titles between 1986 and 2013, before claiming a ninth championship in 2024 to end an 11 year wait for the league crown.

In recent seasons, Silver Strikers have continued to strengthen their trophy cabinet, winning the 2025 Charity Shield and the 2025 FDH Bank Cup. The club’s success also extends to the women’s team, with Silver Strikers Ladies making history by becoming the inaugural champions of the 2025 NBM Women’s Premiership.
