After a few weeks away from action we fine-tune for a second trip to Kamuzu stadium on Monday to play Mighty Tigers in the 10th match of the TNM Super League.
This is an injury update ahead of the match.
We roll on a positive note as Duncan Nyoni has returned from his long injury that has kept him out of action since the beginning of the season.
New to the injury list are Tatenda M’balaka, Zebron Kalima, and Charles Chipala. M’balaka will miss this week’s action after spraining his Achilles and will get a sonography on Thursday to determine the extent of the injury.
Kalima, who last played against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the TNM Super League at the start of June pulled his groin and will be out for two weeks.
Also out for two weeks is Charles Chipala who has a hamstring injury and has already started rehabilitation.
Gift Chunga has almost four weeks to return to action after recovering from a grade two ankle sprain. Chunga has played in our first three matches of the season against Chitipa United, Bangwe All Stars, and Dedza Dynamos.
Forward Atusaye Nyondo will return to full training on Tuesday after a week of light training. Nyondo had a shoulder injury that has kept him out of action for some weeks. The last time he played was in a home game against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at Silver Stadium and he will not make the trip to Blantyre.
Nineteen-year-old Adiel Kaduya is expected to return to action on Tuesday after being ruled out for weeks when he sprained an ankle. Kaduya picked up the injury when we hosted Karonga United at Silver Stadium. This far, Kaduya has four goals to his name.
The rest of the squad members are available for selection this week.
