Head Coach Peter Mponda says their current form will not distract their focus ahead of their eighth assignment against Karonga United on Saturday at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe.
Mponda says he is very aware of the need to win games at the moment.
Currently, Silver Strikers have won all their home assignments and stand top on the log table with 19 points from 7 games.
On the other end, Karonga United are ninth placed on the log with 9 points
“We are ready for our game on Saturday, the preparations have gone well this far. Unlike our previous game where there was no need to motivate the players but this game we are challenged to keep the momentum going but we have told them not to feel on top of the world with the current form but rather focus on the games ahead”, Mponda said.
The Central Bankers will still miss Duncan Nyoni, Atusaye Nyondo, Gift Chunga and Binwell Katinji who are out due to various injuries.
