Silver Strikers were 0-4 winners against Santhe Admarch with Paul Kamsungwi, Uchizi Vunga, Binwell Katinji, and Emmanuel Muira on target.

Both teams tried to settle and find the back of the net in the first half of the match but at recess no team was able to break the deadlock.

At 40 minutes Silver Strikers made its first substitution by bringing in Zebron Kalima and took out Christopher Gototo.

At halftime Coach Mponda introduced Stanie Davie, Adiel Kaduya, Mark Fodya, Innocent Mtonga, and Pilirani Mapila while Eustice Mwale, Charles Chipala, Dan Sandukila, Charles Thom, and Atusaye Nyondo were taken out.

It was at 10 minutes into the second half when Kamsungwi gave the Bankers the lead from a well utilized Stanie Davie’s rebound when Adiel Kaduya crossed the ball in the box.

The Area 47 outfit bayed for more goals but it was at 59 minutes when Uchizi Vunga rounded off the goalie from a well played soft pass of Kaduya.

At 63 minutes Paul Kamsungwi paved way for Binwell Katinji. Katinji wasted no time but to register his name on the score sheet from a rocket outside the box.

At exactly 90 minutes, Kaduya perfected his superb performance of the day with an assist to Muira who slotted the ball home.

In post-match interviews, Mponda said it was a good game though the team is still struggling off the ball.

“We are showing our presence in patches as we are so well on the ball compared with us in possession. However we did so well,” said Mponda.

The Central Bankers round up their Pre-season action with a game against Civil Service United at Champions Stadium in Mponela.
