Longtime partner MIKA Greenland has renewed its commitment in reward top performers and supporters in the 2024 football Season.
Speaking at a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony in Lilongwe, MIKA Greenland Digital Marketing Officer Aubrey Chisale said the company feels they need to continue the partnership with Silver Strikers as they believe it helps to bring competition among players.
Chisale said this time around, the agreement has taken into consideration the fans as two Silver Strikers Supporters will win a plot each.
Among others MIKA Greenland will award the player of the month of April and May with a 15 by 30 plot of land in Lilongwe whilst the player of the month of June, July, August, September, October, November and December will go away with MK150, 000 each.
To add the icing on the cake, two Silver Strikers supporters will win two 15 by 30 plots in the month of May and November.
“It’s now three years being in partnership with Silver Strikers and we feel this partnership is mutually beneficial. This time around we have extended it to supporters as we will enable them to win plots as well. In the years we have been in this partnership we feel it has helped to improve the performance of team as competition is stiff among them”, said Chisale.
On the other end, Silver Strikers Chief Executive Officer Patrick Chimimba said MIKA Greenland has proven to be a true partner and feels the improved partnership will go a long way in making football exciting.
“We have renewed the agreement for the third year running for the award of the Player of the month. This time around we continue with the awards for the player of the month and as well award two supporters. At the end of the year MIKA Greenland will also award players at the end of the season. As Silver Strikers we feel the morale of the players will go up as this partnership dangles exciting prizes”, said Chimimba.
MIKA Greenland entered into partnership with Silver Strikers in 2022 with an aim of awarding best performing players.
