Head Coach Peter Mponda has said the two games this weekend will help to boost confidence in the players which is desperately needed ahead of the 2024 season.
Silver Strikers will this weekend play Kamuzu Barracks on Saturday at Silver Stadium and play guests to Bangwe All Stars at Aubrey Dimba Stadium in Mchinji on Sunday.
The two friendlies come after a first friendly against MAFCO last weekend where the Bankers came out 3-2 victors.
Mponda says the two fixtures over the weekend will help the players to gain more confidence.
“We are playing two games this weekend that will help us boost our confidence and the boys are ready for the games. Currently, I feel we are ready to play any team but we need to improve our confidence and see how best we can deploy our game plan”, Mponda said.
The Central Bankers will kick off the season with a crush against Nyasa Big Bullets in the NBS charity shield later this month.
