Blossoming forward Charles Chipala has on Tuesday completed his move to Silver Strikers on a three year deal. Chipala saw out his contract with his former team Dedza Dynamos.
The forward becomes a third signing ahead of the 2024 football season after Christopher Gototo and McDonald Lameck joined the Central Bankers from Blue Eagles FC.
Speaking after being unveiled, Chipala said he was anxious to join Silver Strikers Football Club and he is happy to live his dream.
“Joining Silver Strikers is something I have been dreaming for a while and when the club officials approached me I was so excited and never thought twice but to accept to the terms that were offered by the club. I cannot wait to join the rest of the guys in readiness to the new season”, he said.
On his part, newly appointed head coach Peter Mponda said he is happy with the addition to the squad saying Chipala will bring in more competition thereby helping the team to do well.
Before joining Dedza Dynamos in 2019, Chipala played for Zomba United, Michiru Madrid, and then joined Mozambican clubs Costal Do Sol.
