Silver Strikers has won three consecutive games in their last outings in the elite TNM Super League 2022 season as they remain with a game to wrap up their season.
The Bankers have impressed both tactically and performance-wise as their search for redemption towards the season emerged having been out of the title race this season due to several dismal performances.
The wins have all been away from home as the last home game was a 0-1 defeat to Tigers FC at the Bingu National Stadium three weeks ago on Mother’s day.
However, it has been all rosy from that moment till now as the Lilongwe Sky-Blues have defeated Dedza Dynamos who were responsible for the Bankers short stint in the FDH cup defense having won in post-match penalties.
A wholesome defeat of Moyale FC in Mzuzu with 10 men showed character and resilience for the Leo Mpulula men as they held on to claim victory in the lion’s den after the first encounter at home in Area 47 ended goalless.
From there on another sweet victory was with Kamuzu Barracks as the team won 1-2 away at the Kasungu Stadium, after KB changed its match venue from the champion stadium in Mponela.
