Silver Strikers Youth started their path to district championship after winning their two games over the weekend with 7 goals scored overall.
In their away game against Kapita Capital, it was Prince Williams hattrick and the lone goal of Emmanuel Jumpha that made sure the young bankers collect 3 points last Saturday as the team won 4-2 in area 18 at Chatuwa primary school.
On Sunday another three points was collected by the young bankers at home with Lifton Gunde scoring a brace along an Emmanuel Jumpha strike taking the goals to three against Tick Tack FC in the match that ended 3-1 in favour of the bankers.
Despite not keeping a clean sheet the Green Harawa side is on top of the log table having scored more goals than Civo United Youth which lies second with the same number of points.
The young bankers will play Civo this weekend at home as they try their hand at the championship. This same weekend a return match against Kapita Capital is on the cards at home after playing them at their base last weekend.
If the silver side wins both games they would have 12 points overall with two games to go.
