Nickson Mwase’s league season has come to a premature end after receiving a red card in Mzuzu as Silver beat Moyale last Sunday.
According to league rules, a red card attracts a 2 game suspension which in this case is the same number of games Silver Strikers have got left in the TNM Super League as they have played 28 games.
Mwase got a yellow card in both halves with the second coming in the 57th minute as the bankers tried to break the deadlock against the Lions of Kaning’ina.
Chikondi Kamanga will also not be able to play as he is suspended for one game after collecting a 3rd yellow card accumulatively in the same match that was like the clash of titans with tackles being the order of the day from both sides.
However, the Leo Mpulula led team will be happy to have Stenie Davie back after he missed the Moyale trip due to a one match suspension after collecting his third accumulative yellow card during the Dedza Dynamos match where he scored the lone goal of the game.
Mwase will be available for the Airtel top 8 which is slated for start once the league season wraps up in a few weeks.
On Sunday Silver takes on Kamuzu Barracks at the Kasungu Stadium, in Kasungu.

This season we have not played out our best.
Let’s hope next season we will do better
