Silver Strikers have had 3 straight wins consecutively for the second time this season as they come from a fresh away triumph over TN Stars of Kasungu District.
The wins have brought back confidence to the squad as now the Bankers are able to play the passing game they are known for as explained by Assistant coach McDonald Yobe.
“We substituted Davie and Phodo we wanted to create from the wings and we got two goals from the tactical switch which was made possible after Macheso came in for Maganizo including Nyoni and Kalima as we now had more bodies in midfield with a 4-5-1 approach than the 4-3-3 which we had started with in the first half”, said Yobe.
Yobe further went on to say that despite missing out on several chances, the technical bench was worried at the complacency that their boys had shown in the first minute to start trailing that early but was quick to praise them for rising to the occasion to force the game to 1-1 as they went to recess.
Silver Strikers have now won 2 away games after a narrow win against Rumphi United followed by the home defeat of Red Lions and now surviving the scare TN Stars wanted to inflict on the bankers.
