The Central Bankers have signed another player 3 days after they announced the coming in of Emmanuel Muyira, Silver has also signed Uchizi Vunga.
The attacking midfielder who used to turn out for Mzuzu Warriors has exchanged the Mzuzu greens for the Area 47 Sky-Blues for an initial 2 year contract.
Vunga has met his new teammatesand also trained with the team this afternoon citing a warm welcome into the senior team under the tutelage of Daniel Kabwe.
Speaking to this website, Chief Executive Officer Thokozani Chimbali said the purchase of this prolific midfielder has been made to buffer the squad that the Bankers have built in the season.
“He is a young exciting player who will add a lot of energy to the relatively young squad, he is a player for the present and the future who will bring healthy competition in his role on pitch’’, said Chimbali.
Silver Strikers are the defending champions of the ongoing Airtel Top 8 competition and will face Civil Service United on December 11 in a semi-final fixture.
