Kamuzu Barracks FC has managed to hold Silver Strikers today in a TNM super league encounter in Lilongwe at the Civo Stadium in a reverse fixture.
Silver Strikers started the game in a much changed side from the team that faced Red Lions as Daniel Kabwe’s boys sought after 3 points which at the end did not come making Silver just to collect 4 points from KB this season.
Foster Bitoni was given a first team start for the first time in 6 months with Maxwell Paipi and Zebron Kalima also given starting berths in the wing and central defence respectively as Innocent Shema graced the right back role with his skill and wit.
Sadly, for Foster Bitoni another injury came in the first half and was replaced by Rodwell Robert who then paired Stenie Davie after coming on to the field. KB’s defence was well marshalled by Sam Chibvunde who made sure Hastings Banda in goals was protected as well as ma of the match Gregory Nachipo who dictated things in the heart of the midfield for the Lilongwe military outfit.
Silver created a lot of chances but striking duo of Davie and Rodwell did not convert leading to the sharing of the spoils for both teams at the end of 90 minutes.
Up next is a double away fixture in Karonga as Silver will face Chitipa United and Karonga United in the TNM super league.
This team is enjoying us nowdays, we are not enjoying with performance
