Silver Strikers FC are now second in the TNM super league without kicking a ball as across town arch rivals Civil Service United went 1st after getting 4 points in the south and two points clear of the central bankers.
Silver travel down south from the capital Lilongwe this weekend, and will meet Red Lions and Ntopwa in their final outings in the first round of the Super League in the city of Blantyre.
With preparations which started this morning, Silver Strikers 1st assistant coach McDonald Mtetemera says, “We are on track, we are doing our preparations well and not fazed by what other teams are doing”.
Silver Strikers senior team has no injuries as the whole squad minus Jack Chiona was present for the Monday morning training session.
The Lilongwe Skyblues lie second with 22 points on the league table and last won 4-0 at home a week ago.
