With the impending league starting a week from today Silver Strikers is leaving no stone unturned in making sure that its players are well informed of the updates and changes in the laws of the game of football.
Silver Strikers hired a tutor yesterday who drilled the boys in a half day workshop at the Silver Complex on how to effectively follow the laws of the game as competitive football is returning to the country.
CAF Referees Instructor Martha Nyekanyeka took The Elite through the paces in an interactive session which the senior side said it was an eye opener for them as so much has changed in football in the past year.
This workshop comes at a time local competitive football was last played in the league last year hence the need to have the workshop to freshen the minds of the boys in sky-blue.
Head Coach Daniel Kabwe hailed the administration for the timely workshop with his boys. Aside from the workshop former players also came through to motivate the current players as Silver launches a bid to clinch all silverware this season.
