Silver Strikers has signed long time target Nickson Mwase from Civil Service United before the transfer market closes tomorrow at midnight.
Silver has also roped in Rodwell Robert from LUANAR FC after impressing during his trial for the Lilongwe based sky-blues’ in a ceremony that took place at the club’s headquarters in Area 47.
Speaking during the event to this website, Mwase said “Silver is one of the club’s I have followed for a while and wanted to play for, this is a dream come true”. Whilst Robert said he is not fazed because he has never played in the super league before and he has no fear because he wants to make his mark in the league.
However, Head coach Daniel Kabwe has said Silver is still pursuing Vitumbiko Kumwenda as an attacking option which he is very much interested in signing for his elite side. Kabwe also pointed out that the team is getting in the right shape after the two signings.
Mwase is a defender where as Rodwell is a striker.
