Silver Stadium: to host the first match after football resumption
Silver Stadium becomes the first stadium to host a match after the resumption of football in the country as Silver Strikers host Kamuzu Barracks in a friendly on Friday afternoon, 30th October 2020.
In his remarks Silver Coach Dan Kabwe indicated that he would take this opportunity to assess the level of fitness of his charges and that he is taking the test match seriously. Under Dan Kabwe the team is yet to play a competitive match but prior to suspension of football in March, the team played four test matches and won all of them by scoring four goals in each of the games.
Silver Strikers will play in the FA’s Charity Shield slated for 21-22 November 2020 which is a precursor of the delayed 2020 Super League Season. SULOM is yet to release the fixture.
