Silver Strikers commenced pre-season training sessions over the weekend after a forced break due to the covid-19 pandemic which resulted into government suspending sporting activities in the country.

After two days of training Daniel Kabwe has told this website that the boys have been responding well to training and he was delighted to be back with his boys after a huge break.

“These were our regrouping sessions and getting back as a team, so we wanted to see their fitness levels which should give us as coaching staff knowledge on how we can plan and infuse knowledge” said the Zambian tactician.

Kabwe went on to point out that the sessions were centered on checking the agility of the players and their endurance in their physical fitness before they start working on tactics.

Silver Strikers who are the current Airtel top 8 champions will play the newly formatted charity shield in November.
