With Football Association of Malawi giving 14th November 2020 as the day Malawian football will resume Silver Strikers head coach Daniel Kabwe says he is happy the timeframe is now clear.
Kabwe has said with training starting on 17th October 2020 it will give them (his coaching staff) ample time to plan for the season properly after the exact dates have been made public.
“We will have to compress our season in line with the football resumption”, said a visibly relieved Kabwe who is yet to manage Silver in a competitive match since he was hired on February 1 this year.
With a few weeks to the charity shield which will be the official start of the football season. Kabwe has said they hope to hit the ground running as the boys will just integrate into group training since they were training individually.
It is close to 7 months without any football related activity, the Zambian tactician says that he will have to place a mark on the team this season together with his two assistants, McDonald Mtetemera and McDonald Yobe.
